My name is Monica Bertolino.  I am a third grade teacher, and this will be my eighth year at Shepard Elementary. Although I have teaching experience in second through fourth grade, my favorite grade to teach is third because it's such a fun and exciting year.   

I graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans and received my Master's in Reading Education from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. I also earned additional certification in Reading at the University of South Alabama. 

I am looking forward to working with each of you, and I know we will have a great school year!
