My name is Laniese Howard and am starting my 34th year as an educator.  I have taught grades 3-8 and GT in Tennesse and Alabama. I have been married for 36 years and I have 3 amazing daughters and 3 awesome grandsons.  I love watching football (GO VOLS) and most other sports. I also love summer activities, like swimming, gardening, and travel. I am an adventurer by nature so any chance that I get to go do or see something new, I take it!!  My favorite season is Fall and my favorite holiday is Christmas.  I absolutely LOVE to decorate and my house is always ready to celebrate the seasons.

I am a lifelong learner and I love STEM, literature, history, etc.. My goal is to challenge my students to think above and beyond what they see.  I want them to learn from their failures and solve problems they never though they could!  In the GT program, we learn without limits!
